A few things about me...

Born in Texas, raised in Kansas, I'm considered a Midwest girl. Being a Military wife, I have lived in on both coasts as well... I am in love with the Seattle area, and while it can certainly rain, they've got nothin' on a Kansas thunderstorm. I am crazy in love with my Husband, David; he's my biggest supporter. We have seven daughters between the two of us. (See? I was born to be a wedding planner!) I love to scrapbook and yes, I have time. I am blessed to have a career that never feels like work...

What inspired you to become a wedding planner?

I fell in love with all things wedding when I planned my own!
When planning my wedding, my Husband was deployed in Iraq, and our wedding was planned via unreliable email connections and lagging satellite phone calls. Wedding "stuff" consumed me, and I loved every minute of it! I had only seven months to plan our wedding, and that fact didn't phase me at all. Even from so very far away, he could sense just how much I enjoyed planning our wedding. And he told me as much, followed by a very serious
"you should do this!"...
after pondering this suggestion for about 30 seconds, well, the rest is history.

My background in the insurance industry brings with it the organizational and customer service skill set required to excel at wedding planning. My experience as a Creative Memories Consultant (scrapbooking company) allows me to show others my creativity in the 'big picture' sort of way. When I scrapbook, I design my pages first, then I take the photos to fit. Since I know what the end result is, I can plan your wedding accordingly, too!

There could not be a more perfect career choice in this world for me. The talents I naturally possess are all necessary to help couples like you bring their personalities into their wedding day as well as allow them to enjoy their engagement and feel confident in their wedding experience. The fact that my job never feels like work is one huge reason I do what I do. Being a wedding planner also allows me to be available for my daughters - all seven of them. I am a Mom first, showing my daughters that they can be successful at anything they choose. I have to point out the obvious, as well... seven daughters ~ I was destined to be a wedding planner!



What sets you apart from other wedding planners?

Bobbi Roth Wedding Design is a full-time Wedding Planning and Design company. This is what I do full-time, not something I fit in after "day job". This allows me to offer my Brides & Grooms exceptional customer service by responding in a timely manner. I am based out of Marysville, Washington, assisting brides and grooms in Snohomish and King counties. My service area is limited on purpose, because I am an expert in my area and offer you only the best!

Your questions, concerns, and dreams are my priority. I do work with an amazing group of wedding vendors who bring sensational service and professionalism to you every time. I will not recommend a vendor unless I have worked with them or interviewed them thoroughly. Hiring me also means you do not have to spend hours searching for just the right vendors. You will have confidence in your wedding vendors, because they will match your style, personality, and budget.

I never stop learning. The wedding industry is ever-changing. I do keep up with trends; however, I do believe that what makes a wedding timeless and classic is that it reflects who you are as a couple, right now. This is so much deeper than what colors and tablescapes are on-trend for this year. We will work together to bring your and your fiancé's personalities to life.

I have a passion for planning weddings, which you will experience in our conversations and planning sessions.

What's your style?
Ah, I love this question. My planning philosophy concentrates on discovering your dreams as a couple... digging deep to find out the things that you love about one another. We bring those things into your wedding, making it a one-of-a-kind celebration.

Will I lose control of my wedding if you plan it for me?

No, of course not. A great planner is merely a creative extension of you as a couple. My job, as your planner, is to help you figure out exactly what you want from your wedding experience. Then I guide you along the way, giving you ideas, inspiration, and much-needed support. This is completely your day, and it will be yours in every way.



Who would benefit from working with you?


You will benefit from working with me if you want your dream wedding, but you don't have the time, resources, or know-how to get it done. If you already have the design and feel in mind, but you have no idea how to bring it all together, you're a perfect candidate as well.  Whether you have the know-how or are totally overwhelmed by all the information and options available to you, I offer several packages and customization to fit every couples needs & wants.



Who would not benefit from working with you?

Please know that I find true joy in helping brides and their families plan their dream weddings, but we must be a good fit for one another in order to create your perfect day. So, if you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, I suggest doing some hard thinking before we get started. You need to evaluate your know-how to get this done as well as how much time, patience, and creativity you have to bring your ideas together.


Will you work with vendors who I really want to work with or have already contracted?

Absolutely! In fact, this is how I came to know a lot of the vendors with whom I currently work. It is not a requirement that you work only with vendors I recommend. However, you can feel confident knowing that my Dream Team of vendors are there if you need them.


Do you accept credit cards, and do you offer
payment plans?


Yes, I do. An initial deposit is required with your signed contract; this reserves your wedding date. We then set up a convenient monthly payment plan for you, which will have you paying off the balance a month prior to your wedding.

Do you take more than one wedding per day?

No, I do not. My attention is focused on your wedding.
