This past weekend, I had the privilege of being Teresa & Dwayne's Day of Coordinator... they spent the last year-and-a-half planning their wedding day, and it came together flawlessly! The day before the wedding, Teresa and her entourage got pampered with manis and pedis; and the day of the wedding, the boys got a little in, too, when they headed to
The Art of Shaving in Bellevue for a cut and shave. Nice!
Not a 'traditional' bride, Teresa's gown was not white; instead, she chose a stunning shade of platinum. Her ladies wore deep purple and pewter dresses that were fun and sassy (with pockets!)... and she gave some Etsy love and had custom bouquets made ~ paper flowers adorned with feathers, of course!
No detail was missed... check out her feather-adorned clutch and killer heels!
The heartfelt yet fun ceremony brought laughter as well as tears... then we headed off to the Olympic Dining room for dinner ~ a menu chosen by the bride, specifically not to be 'wedding food'... it was quite amazing! Plumes of ostrich feathers on each table, and this is the amazing view the guests enjoyed for the evening from 17 floors up @ the Seattle Harbor Club:
After dinner, we neaded back to the Cascade room which had been turned from ceremony to dance hall! Dancing... cake... so much fun! The bride reemerged in a sexy purple number and everyone danced the night away! The evening concluded with a bubble send-off for the happy couple as they made their way to the Rolls Royce waiting to take them away...
